Angelina Jolie dons a cornflower blue Max Azria at Sunday’s SAG Award in Los Angeles! The mighty heart star donned it the wrong way round and we just loved it, cause it seems that Angie can do no wrong!
The daily mail ran a story staying that she was trying to show off her tattoos, how classy!
The dress is from Max Azria’s Spring 2009 collection. Jolie finished off the look with Tiffany & co jewles and Christian Louboutin shoes.
Calvin Klein – Steven Meisel Vid – Banned!!

Yea, this Calvin Klein ad has been doing the rounds since last week. However it’s been removed from YouTube so I’ll link this post to WWD where this controversial is still up. We like the video for a number of reasons, cause it’s naught and it’s been banned by Youtube and US TV.
The video was shot by Steven Meisel, and features incredibly beautiful and thin models (Anna Maria Jagodzinska, Anna Selezneva, Edita Vilkeviciute, Natasha Poly and Naty Chabanenko according to models.com) bare apart from their Calvin Klein jeans.
According to WWD the video will screen in Europe uncensored and Calvin Klein is working on an edited version to screen on cable in the US.
I’m plugging this video as it is controversial and I want it on my blog but in realtiy, I think that the video looks like a porn audition…

January 24, 2009 by almostglamorousSpring into a soft suede and make suede your friend. That’s our tip for spring. Suede is so comforting and comfortable and will see you through from these cold days and right on into summer.
I love the suede high platform boot at NewLook.co.uk, these boots are super sexy and so Louboutin. I popped down to New Look earlier this week and picked up a pair. These boots did not disappoint and at £30.00 a real bargain however I do need to say that I experienced terrible customer service. The sales assistants were incredibly rude and no box was given for the shoes. The shoes were placed in a New Look bag that was too small and not sufficient to protect the boots from the rain outside. I asked for an extra bag or bigger bag and the sales assistant refused, stating that it was not their policy. So it’s not your policy to provide sufficient packaging for the products you sell? Talk about unreasonable … My love of shoes and these boots saw me call for the manager this combined with a 10 minute wait resulted in me eventually getting a bag big enough to protect my shoes from rain. I give these shoes an 8 out of 10 and the sales assistants a dismal 1 out of 10. Completely unreasonable behavior from the sales assistant and manager and let’s just say we will not be featuring any of their products on this site in the near future.

Agyness Deyn unfashionable in NY!!

Agyness Deyn one of the hottest models of 2008 and a trend setter of note, has been dubbed as ‘Cruella De Vil’ by the DailyMail. As the newspaper describes her as “Taking a leaf out of Cruella De Vil’s fashion book, Agyness opted for a white fur coat – reminiscent of the 101 Dalmatians.”
The 25 year old model, recently moved home with her boyfriend Albert Hammons, 28 (Strokes) seems to have settled into her new place as she walked her pet chihuahua and Dachshund.
The couple are rumoured to be engaged after she was photographed wearing a ring on her wedding finger earlier this year.
Agyness recently came under fire for posing in a fur coat when leaving a Christmas bash at the Royal Academy of Arts in London. Which is rather ironic as she was later pictured wearing an anti-fur sticker on her top

Christmas is not about getting its about giving, so I shopped my little heart out for friends and family.
As for boxing day, I did not brave the sales it’s just too hectic the stamped and the crowds, yuk!! I need the experience to be pleasant so I gave it a miss besides I hate queuing and usually the good stuff comes out after the new year.

Mouawad is aiming to put Richie’s pieces, which feature fabric, leather, silk strings, chains, rivets, feathers and gold-plated metals.” The jewelry is said to be influenced by Nicole’s love of the 60s and 70s. (Wonder if her previous stylist – Rachel Zoe – had anything to do with that as she loves that era) The collection will debut in the new Kitson store on Melrose when it opens in November and on ShopKitson.com. This gold-plated sundial ring with leather (pictured) was inspired by “African jewelry”, which is super beautiful and bang on trend for this seasons look. Can’t wait for more and to start shopping and wearing.

In September 2005, things were going well for supermodel Kate Moss.
She was being courted by Swedish high street chain H&M and she had already signed a deal to advertise a clothing range by her friend, designer Stella McCartney, for the same company.
But then the ‘Cocaine Kate’ story broke.
A grainy video, secretly shot at a recording session for Babyshambles, the band fronted by her then boyfriend Pete Doherty, appeared to show her preparing and then snorting cocaine.
Both H&M deals were promptly withdrawn.
Kate’s contract as the face of Coco Mademoiselle perfume was due to expire that October and Chanel decided not to renew it.
Burberry cancelled a new campaign with her. As more brands called off lucrative deals, she was advised to take action.
A week after the scandal, her model agency Storm issued a statement from Kate saying: ‘I take full responsibility for my actions. I also accept that there are various personal issues that I need to address and have started taking the difficult, yet necessary, steps to resolve them.
‘I want to apologise to all of the people I have let down because of my behaviour, which has reflected badly on my family, friends, co-workers, business associates and others. I am trying to be positive, and the support and love I have received are invaluable.’ Read the rest of this entry »

This image is just one of several taken by doting dad Brad Pitt for an intimate portrait of the couple’s family life of Jolie and the kids.
Brad has made his photography debut shooting his seven favourite things in the world – Angelina and their six children – for America’s W magazine.
The publication (Wmag) commissioned Brad to do the photos – which accompanied a revealing interview by the Oscar-winning actress – at the couple’s rented home in the south of France.
Taken just seven weeks after the birth of the couple’s twins Knox and Vivienne, Angelina is a picture of contentment as she enthuses about the joys of parenthood.
Using no-longer-produced Kodak Tech Pan film specially flown in Tel Aviv, Brad captured the real family life of the Jolie-Pitt clan in black or white.
In one astonishingly intimate shot, Angelina gazes into the camera while breast-feeding one of the couple’s twins.
With her hair flowing naturally over her shoulder, a tiny hand is seen clutching Angelina’s breasts as they feed.
And in another revelation Angelina Jolie let slip to a New York times reporter that it would be cool for the kids to see the movie in which mom and dad feel in love when referring to Mr & Mrs Smith, at least for Jennifer Aniston the true is finally out there and the denials are over.
Jolie loves her Micheal Kors and wears it while out in NY earlier this year!

The agency announces its representation of the designer and photographer – (NEW YORK) Ever since Hedi Slimane left Dior Homme last year, rumors have swirled about his future business plans. Yesterday, Art + Commerce announced that it will represent the artist. Slimane’s photography has appeared in French Vogue, Vanity Fair, V, VMAN, Purple and Dazed & Confused and he has published nine books of photography. Slimane has also curated several art exhibitions and designed architectural spaces. He recently unveiled a furniture collection for Comme des Garçons. Under his new representation, Slimane will remain available for projects, while his photographs will be made available for licensing.
